We visited 26/04 for 5 nights for our honeymoon through tui. After booking this we contacted the hotel via instagram and email to make them aware this was our honeymoon and to also try and collect the points for our stay as we also visit another Rixos later in the year. They responded to our email to tell us we could not collect our points as we didn’t book direct. Fair enough but clear acknowledgment of the email. When we arrived the staff were fantastic offering us drinks and food however we was tired from travelling and just wanted to sleep. The hotel is huge and we was not given a map or any guidance to find our way around meaning it was our last afternoon before even finding the beach bar. When we arrived in our room it was in the old building and not one of the many new refurbished rooms advertised on TUI but being so tired and also not being ones to complain and ruin our holiday, we chose to just sleep. The room was advertised as garden view, this was not the case we overlooked all the rubbish bins and generators with a balcony not even big enough for 2 people. Plugs were hanging off the walls or didn’t work. Mini bar was extensive however they only brought our coffee machine 3 days in and the mini bar was only refreshed partly some days. Hotel as a whole was spotlessly clean, bins by all the tables and sunbeds around the pool so impossible for people to not get rid of their own rubbish. The rooms however, well our room was not cleaned properly at all, despite leaving a tip daily. After to speaking to quite a few people, we was the only people there celebrating a special occasion and the only ones not to receive an upgrade. With these upgrades it came with some kind of special service and as though they were superior guests and the staff and al a cartes prioritised them. We then met another couple who was celebrating there anniversary that day, champagne chocolates and fruit plate in the room with an al a carte restaurant booking. Al a carte restaurant had so much choice but sadly all the food was cold and was impossible to get a drink despite the fact the hotel wasn’t actually that busy. Food court was much better however again staff standing around chatting but impossible to get a drink. We managed after hassling and hassling over WhatsApp to get into 2 al a cartes which were both amazing, service and food was outstanding. The staff at the lotus bar were incredible, could not do enough for you, friendly and smiley all the time. Music and entertainment was also great, and when we eventually came across the beach bar service was equally as good and the dj was a great touch. People’s restaurant is fab in the day for lunch amazing quality food that wasn’t stone cold like the buffet. Location of the hotel is wonderful the views are out of this world. On our last day, we was then asked for feedback. We passed on this information and was told we should of notified them sooner about our honeymoon to which I provided proof we had and had they asked for feedback sooner we would of told them. We asked for late check out to be told our room was booked fair enough but after our feedback said we could keep the room for an extra hour but would need to get our keys changed and they would give us a honeymoon pack. When we got to the reception the lady who dealt with us told us we did not have late check out and therefore we couldn’t have keys to our room. I then showed the messages but was still told no until I argued and told them we simply cannot leave until we have collected our packed belongings from our room. When we got to the room, there was no honeymoon pack to be seen. We would of loved to return with our family as the kids club looks so amazing, most the staff were friendly and helpful, the new parts of the hotel are gorgeous and the al a cartes and food court was great however we feel after spending the premium you do to stay at Rixos we didn’t get the stay service and room we should of done which ruined our honeymoon and when we did give our feedback we was told it was our fault.

We spent a week at the rpt April 24th to May 1st and this is my review. My first impressions were that this was a beautiful hotel, in beautiful grounds with a beautiful backdrop of mountains and sea. As that was my primary reason for choosing the hotel I was pretty pleased. We arrived quite late at around 9.30 pm and were not offered a drink or a seat during check in but my husband was quite keen to get to the tv football matches near the People’s restaurant so we left our luggage and went straight there. We could have opted for a meal if we had wanted but apparently football is more important than sustenance. 😂 I had to get our drinks myself from the Peoples restaurant After the match we were given a lift in a golf buggy to our upgraded two bedroom family garden suite down by the stream. We were delighted with this as I had requested two separate beds and we ended up with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We were on the ground floor too with a beautiful garden view out the front and a Mountain View at the back. The bathrooms were small but adequate and the beds were super comfortable. Cleaning was very good with clean sheets and towels regularly. Once I had to ask for the mini bar filled up but after that it was done all the time. There is a good beach with spectacular views and lots of sun beds. It is easier to get sun beds here than around the pool which is full of families who reserve them. No complaints about that really their need was greater than ours and we found the main pool area a little too noisy with music and activities anyway. We did go to swim a few times though and the pool is enormous. Only the section where the activities and the children’s area is heated but we didn’t mind the temperature of the main pool. The pier was completed a few days into our stay but it is only small and there are only a few large round sun beds on it so I reckon you would have to be up very early to snap up one of those. The beach bar is very good but service was generally get your own. 😂There were a couple of waitresses wandering around but they tended just to clean the tables and customers formed an orderly queue at the bar. Overall I would say I got 80 % of our drinks myself which was different to other Turkish hotels I have been to. On an evening watching the entertainment at the Lotus bar we were served at our seats but during the day people tended to queue there too. No great hardship. The Lobby bar was very impressive looking with tall ceilings and chandeliers and shops but we preferred the more relaxed atmosphere of the beach bar and Lotus bar. The views at the Lotus bar were just gorgeous. The sea in one direction and the mountain in the other. 😍 Entertainment was just bands when we were there but there were some pretty good ones on. Some did do some Russian songs for Russian guests but also lots of European covers. I don’t think there was anything going on after 11. We didn’t do any activities but there were lots of exercise classes and boccia and volleyball etc. You got a WhatsApp message every morning with details. The food for us was just ok. We are very fussy when it comes to food wherever we go and out of the 4 Turkish holidays we have been on so far we have only really rated the Lara Barut. But I don’t pick holidays based solely on what the food is like. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying it judging by the size of their plates of food at the buffet restaurant. But I chose a wonderful table with a beautiful view most days and enjoyed that. The first lunchtime we went the food was cold. Not even luke warm but they happened to randomly survey me that day and I mentioned it. If other people did too or not I don’t know but that aspect seemed to improve. We managed to get into the A La Turca a La carte restaurant twice, the people’s restaurant once and the Chinese restaurant once. We couldn’t get into the Italian. The people’s restaurant was not good at all. Guests were complaining left right and centre I think about the food being cold. One family left the restaurant without eating it. Our starters came at the same time as our main courses. It was edible but not great. The Turkish restaurant was lovely the first time we went but of course when we returned we got the same starters brought out which wasn’t as impressive. The Chinese was not good. 😂 The sushi and soup was ok but we are not big sushi lovers. The tempura prawns were heavily battered and doughy and the beef stir fry was not good beef. We didn’t like the food court either. Unless you waited for the chefs to actually cook something all the food in the tureens was cold. We tried the bbq fish but it came with head and bones and was a bit fiddly for us. And we aren’t burger and chips and pizza fans. Overall though there is always something you can find and the patisserie and the ice cream shop are lovely. Value for money wise this hotel at this time was about )£1000 cheaper than the Lara Barut so I was happy to weigh up the small disappointments with the food and service against the general appeal of a luxury holiday in the sun. It was under £1800 for the two of us for the week including our taxi transfer so considering our good upgrade I was very pleased with the holiday. I know other people will enjoy the food better than we did as I read them saying so on the Facebook page while we were there so don’t let me put you off- just trying to give my honest opinion. I forgot to mention the lovely birds in the stream in front of us that counted as our garden view. Loads of sparrows looking for crumbs on a morning, two beautiful flamingos, a black swan, some ducks and hooded crows. They were a true delight. 😍 And lastly thank you to Merve and Yagmur and Mert on guest relations for answering all my queries during our stay and even finding us a couple of English books to read. Very good service indeed.

Ignore bad reviews! British couple in late 20s early 30s. The resort is amazing. Endless things to do, spotlessly clean, WhatsApp assistants given and they will help you with booking any activities, restaurants, or literally any questions you have. The all inclusive buffet is amazing, at times a little repetitive (we stayed for 10 days), food court is amazing for lunch. Try book In at al’carte restaurants as it breaks it up abit. The lotus bar cocktails are incredible, premium drinks, they will make you any drink you want. Starbucks served till 10pm at the Lotus Bar.

I just want to shout a big thank you to Merve and Yagmur our hotel reps, you guys made me and my sisters trip wonderful. So attentive and always ready and willing to help. From sending the daily itinerary so we know what's happening on the day, booking our reservations for dinner and activities, helping us when my sister lost her earrings and just answering all our queries no matter what time, we are so grateful to you both. I can't say how grateful I am to Merve and Yagmur and can't wait to come back to see you guys again. A big thank you to the hotel team for the lovely balloons and birthday gifts, I've had the best birthday holiday ever. The hotel photographer was amazing, he captured some beautiful moments for myself and my sister. The pictures came out stunning. My masseuse Ortis, magical hands. Awesome hot stone massage. This holiday was 11/10. Can't fault it. Stunning hotel, clean and family friendly. Loved every minute of my stay. Once again thank you. Until we meet again 🥰

We booked a last minute getaway in March 2024 for the following month, it was spontaneous and we wondered if we would regret the decision after noting some of the negative reviews on here. Despite this, our trip was flawless. We were delighted when we attended and were spoilt by our holiday assistant Merve who literally went above and beyond. The food and drinks were amazing and our favourite bartender and waiter would spoil us with speciality cocktails. The weather was slightly cooler but the pool is heated and the sunbeds were always busy as it was still nice and warm. There is so much to explore at the hotel and it took us a whole day to do so. The adults and children’s area are slightly separated, which is nice for both parties. We will definitely be booking again and have spoken so highly of the hotel that my parents have booked for RIXOS Sungate in May. Definitely recommend, 10/10 ✨
